The hotel is small, charming and dedicated to people who like safaris. Eric and Joy, the managers, are charming.The rooms are very good, clean, big and with everything you need. Outside there is an area with benches where you can lie down, read a book, have a drink and warm yourself with a small bonfire.
This is not a place to party. It is a place to do safaris, return to the hotel, rest and have a nice dinner. The food is very good. Eric and Joy sit at the table. You talk, you eat and you feel like you're at home. I am a nature lover. I have done safaris around the world. A hotel like this is exactly what I am looking for in these situations. In addition, Samnapur, the village where the hotel is located, is a quiet place where you can take a walk and see the quiet life of its inhabitants. 100% recommendable.
By the way, the game drive in Kanha National Park is wonderful!

We travelled with our 3 kids (12/9/9) and they just didn’t want to leave.
From the moment we entered, the welcome the welcome that we got from the hotel staff, I just knew that this was going to be an awesome trip and I had made the right choice in choosing Bhag Tola.
I’ll keep my review short - the accommodation, the rooms, the cleanliness, the service, the bathrooms, the air conditioning, the ambience, the way they arrangements for the safaris were made… the whole damn thing……. Every thing was perfect !!!!
A trip I will never forget, and a place I will definitely go back to.

The only negative point, which the management needs to look into - the sleep quality. The pillows were just way too hard… I usually travel with my own pillow - but that fussy me…

An excellent place to unwind from the daily hustle bustle of city life ......set in the midst of a village background the location is just breath taking with nature all around .
I would recommend this to those who want to reset their mind and soul .
The place is run by a couple with their many local helping hands and are very sweet and accommodating and take care of you like family.

Words fall short when I begin to pen down my experience and feelings about my stay here. The reality strikes now and made me realize that we are leaving this place. This place is not a resort, not a hotel nothing like it. This place is a HOME. Beautifully created by the wonderful prople Eric and Joy. Forget the Tiger sighting these two people Eric and Joy will attach you with themselves as if you are their own family. Their warmth is impeccable and capturing. I am sad to leave this place because for two days it was my HOME. Such feeling this place generates in you. Coming to the safari and jungle then there is no better person to accompany than Eric . His 35+ years of experience clearly shows, conversation with him are out of the world, very knowledgable and informative.
My overall experience was out of this world, one of the best I have ever experienced. Amazing stay, amazing food, amazing hospitality, impeccably clean room and property and the warmth and home stay. These guys out of the way make you feel at home. And Joy you are the BEST BAKER IN THIS WORLD. We loved it more because of the love you bake it with and feed us. Your staff is amazing and humble. KUDOS TO YOU ALL.

Eric and Joy have created a heaven of comfort, warmth and homely hospitality in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are spacious clean, airy and impeccably large. nothing is too much for the service-10 staff + Eric and Joy who make everything happen seamless. Gluten free breakfast to home made banana cake to mutton curry. Eric’s knowledge and love for nature is a gift to love on safari drives. He has patience and curiosity. Kanha is magical forest with a unique topography. We enjoyed the forest and saw tigers, but blent of other flora and fauna. Bagh Tola is the best of Indian Hospitality. The beauty of Indian forest and amazing food. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

We had the most wonderful, homely stay. Eric was outstanding, he not only led us to spotting a tiger, it was an emersive safari experience. Our children's first safari turned out to be a super success. The amazing service of the staff and Eric and Joys lovely warm welcome into the beautiful property, treating us like their own was an amazing and comfortable experience.
We will be back again with more friends.
