Arriving by air
The journey from Jabalpur Airport usually takes approximately 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours via the bypass used by our team. This road may not appear in Google Maps, which can suggest a longer route. Ask us to confirm the pickup and routing for your arrival.
If your flight arrives late, discuss the full journey with the team. A transfer estimate is a useful guide, but it should not be treated as a guarantee when planning close connections.
Arriving by rail
Umaria is approximately 15 kilometres from camp, with an indicative transfer time of around 20 minutes. Katni is another option, approximately 80 kilometres away and around 1.5 hours by road. The most suitable station will depend on your train and where you are travelling from.
Bring the details together
Send your flight or train number, arrival time, group size and luggage needs when requesting a transfer. Ask the team to include the cost, pickup point and contact arrangements in your proposal.
Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 11 am. If those timings do not fit your journey, speak with the team before arrival. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability.
Plan the first safari with care
A safari requires its own arrangements and permits. Avoid assuming that a drive can be added immediately after a tight arrival. Share your travel schedule alongside your preferred safari plans so the team can help put together a comfortable itinerary.
