The safari experience
Into the park.
Into their world.
Leave camp behind for a drive into Bandhavgarh. With a naturalist alongside you, take time to read the forest and let each encounter unfold.
A little patience. A deeper encounter.
From camp to the park
Close to the forest.
A drive to the gate.
Bagh Tola is your base for exploring Bandhavgarh. The park safari takes place away from the lodge: you travel by road to the allotted entry gate before entering your permitted safari zone.
The distance and transfer time depend on the gate and zone assigned to your booking. Our team will confirm the departure time and travel arrangements for each drive.

A meal, a rest and the quieter pleasures of lodge life between drives.
Look a little closer
The sighting is
only the beginning.
Bandhavgarh is celebrated for its tigers. Yet the forest holds many other stories: bird calls, alarm calls, changing habitats and the quiet signs of animals that have passed before you.
Our naturalists help you make sense of what you see, and notice what you might otherwise miss. Wildlife moves on its own terms; no encounter can be promised.

Your safari, thoughtfully planned
Into the forest.
In good company.
Morning and afternoon game drives are the starting point for many stays. Longer full-day safaris and buffer-zone experiences may also be possible, depending on permits and current park arrangements.
Share your dates and interests early. Our team will help work out the drives, transfers and time at camp that suit you best.

A few practical
details.
When should I arrange safaris?
As early as you can once your travel dates are known. Permits are limited, and preferred dates and zones can fill. Ask our team to confirm options before finalising your plans.
Which zones will we visit?
The itinerary depends on permits, current park rules and availability. Bagh Tola is conveniently located for the Magadhi and Khitauli areas; a particular zone cannot be promised in advance of confirmation.
Are safaris included in my room rate?
Your proposal will state the accommodation, meals, safari arrangements, transfers and any additional charges. Please use that proposal as the record of your inclusions.
Can I take a walk in the national park?
Walking and vehicle access follow park rules. Camp nature walks are separate experiences arranged with the team; do not enter forest areas independently.
